Please see the attached fuse box wiring picture.

as to overall impressions, it’s generally fine. It stays out of the way and I can mostly ignore it.

The major downside is it has to announce the battery capacity every time the car starts and shuts off. This is annoying. It should only announce the battery charge if it gets below a certain threshold.

So by this I'm guessing its fuse 4 for the ignition switched on (10A multi-function display) and fuse 15/16 for the always on (15 - 15A not used, 16 - 15A GTPE magneride). Also assuming you have the standard GT and not the performance, if using fuse #16?

There are a bunch of fuse box diagrams on the internet, but none that I've found indicate always on vs switched on. If anyone found this info, would be greatly appreciated here!

We remounted it higher per your suggestion! Thank you!

we also cut the two sided tape at the dotted line in the windshield so you do not have to see the tape on the outside.

you also see my gate RFID tag in the picture. It will be removed when I receive a new sticker.

Looks much better tucked up higher to where the bottom isn't protruding past the plastic rain sensor housing and the top wires are a bit more hidden. I'll definitely be putting mine in this spot as well.

Yes I have a standard GT.

You will receive a message via Fordpass about a battery drain / 3rd party adapter. This is because the fuses were unplugged. Mine went away and never came back.

Just as an FYI, I recently installed the U3000 and the Thinkware iVolt battery in my 2023 Non performance GT.

Fuses I used:
1-2 (5A, unused) for ACC
5 (20A, unused) for always on

I did not want to piggy back on to any already in use fuses, so I went with these since they were unused.

the iVolt switch is set to FAST charge at 14.2 V / Max 8.5 A.

When I am parked somewhere that I'd like to be able to live monitor the car, the iVolt has a USB-A port on it. I plug my iPad mini (with cellular) into that and it serves as the WiFi hotspot for the U3000. Would be nice if the MME's Hotspot would be available instead, but understandable why it's not from a power consumption standpoint.

The initial setup is extremely frustrating and convoluted. One needs to connect the LINK app to the U3000 first, add the hotspot (click the lower right in the set of 3 buttons) and then go to the THINKWARE app to register the device. Otherwise, entering the serial/barcode always returns an error.

The iVolt is a nice reassurance that when the car is switched off one can see the power draw from the MME's 12v drops to zero, while the output of the iVolt to the camera remains. I've used CarScanner to check the 12V SOC just after parking and it's usually around 92%. The lowest it's dropped has been to 85% over the course of 24 hours so far. I expect this is normal drain (Unless anyone can state otherwise) but if I didn't have the iVolt to verify no power draw from the MME 12V, it might have me a bit concerned.

Where did you guys put the iVolt battery? This thing is a lot bigger than I was expecting.

Were you able to get the fuse box cover back on with it under there? Would you mind posting a picture of that?
Yes fuse cover is on.

Sorry I do not have a pic.

May have removed some styrofoam to place the battery. It has been a while.
