This Friday December 18th, Ford Motor Company is bringing the all-electric Mustang Mach-E to the world of Twitch. In this live drive stream event, users will have the opportunity to digitally control a real Mach-E, on a real custom-built, 100,000 sq. foot interactive track all from the comfort of home. Users will travel through unique virtual electrified worlds putting the Mach-E through its paces.

At key moments throughout the course, users will be able to vote on the actions the driver can make in real time alongside thousands of other users, moving them closer to the finish line.

I am not sure I understand what is going to happen. Control a real Mach-E on a real track, travelling through a virtual world?

It's a marketing gimmick... Real driver in real Mach-E on closed track. Twitch users vote on track movement decisions using WASD style keyboard inputs.

my guess is it will be their pro driver they use in the 1400 but probably driving some of the normal mach e. but then maybe for finally they might have the consumers put in input in the 1400 so he does more stunt like stuff.

Could you actually control the Mach E using an X-Box and controller? That's what they show in previous test drives of Mustang Mach 1.

Driver is staying in unbridled mode. Would be much better if they showed multiple views at once (bird's eye, up front, from the rear side, and driver's view).

Watching it now on a double screen. Doesn't do much for me; I followed Ford's (FordDriveStream) and Twitch's instructions and registered with an account only to find if you didn't use the FordDriveStream program for a certain number of hours prior to event you wouldn't be allowed in chat or participate on the course.. What's up with that? Twitch didn't do very good job letting people know that. Big disappointment for me.
