So I have a new 2023 Premium AWD ER purchased October 2024. I've only put 2500km on it so relatively new to this vehicle for sure. I have a few questions/issues about this vehicle but overall loving it so far.

This latest issue is kinda weird! I will try to put into context so hopefully it makes sense.

We have a local lake where we walk our dogs daily It's just down the road, approx 2 km away, has no specific address nor have we ever put this destination into the GPS. About 1 mile in you start to drive by 6 different parking lots to access different parts of the lake (we park in the last lot as it's closest to the trails). The other day the GPS randomly started on it's own and proceeded to guide us to the lake and to the specific parking lot that we use! Weird right? Well today it randomly started again, this time taking us to an address that we had used 2 days ago. Interesting that the vehicle was on my wife's profile but the address wasn't even in her previous destinations as I had used it 2 days ago while on my profile. Again we weren't using the GPS it just engaged on it's own. We also had not accidentally set off voice commands as the GPS kicked in immediately as we started driving. Anyone else experienced this or do we have gremlins!

It’s the predictive navigation. Totally normal.

You can turn it off in the navigation settings. Open the navigation app, click on the settings icon in the lower left side of the screen. Then turn off destination suggestions.

Thanks much, that's a new one for me! Would you also happen to know if there is a way to have the motion sensor part of the alarm set to off without having to select it every time you shut off the car? I can't seem to get the alarm or the motion feature to stay off as it resets every time.

It’s supposed to stay off if you go into Click on the Car icon > Vehicle > Alarm System and toggle the ‘Ask on Exit’ setting. I would do this then press and hold the appropriate memory seat button on the door panel to save the change to your profile.

Does that also permanently disable the motion sensor?

Thank You! I hope that it permanently shuts off the motion detection as we travel with the dogs in the car most times :)

I think yes, at least for as long as the toggle switch is off.
Sooo....the interior motion sensor resets every time you turn the vehicle on. I've had so many alarms with my dogs in the car because I get out before I see the screen reminder. Also the predictive Navigation seems to have turned back on again as well! A few bugs to work out for sure.

Sure, it's winter here, they love to come along rather than staying home if I'm running errands.

For me, the ask toggle stays off, but the interior sensor toggle goes back on.
Yep me too, can't seem to get that option to turn off!
