That was the case in my old 2014 Fusion, but I don’t believe it is in the Mach E. Last time I got the low quality backup beeps I put a OBD2 reader on and my 12v battery was at 14v.
Several of us have experienced the same thing. The 12v is reading low and some of the sounds end up going through a speaker on the IPC. At the same time the 12v is being charged so you drive it around a bit and even though the sounds are strange, by the time you look the 12v may be back up to charge but the car needs to have a power cycle to fix itself.
I checked it right after I turned the car on and heard the sounds. I was concerned because I knew of the low 12v tell from my previous Ford. I’m not saying that the low 12v battery can’t cause this, just that it’s not the only cause.
Were you just looking at voltage or at SoC for the 12v? I'm assuming if it's the charging cycle, even if the 12v is low it will read high because the voltage is up to charge the battery. So if you had the car on and checked the voltage, it's high because it's charging the 12v because the SoC was low.
I was looking to check the voltage, but I remember the SOC was in the 90s. I don’t remember the exact number.
