Tire Sizes for GT PE

Has anyone put 255/45 tires on their stock GT PE wheels? I was going to replace the summer tires with DWS06 + 255/45s and guy said they would rub. There are a few threads with tires as large as 265 and rears with even larger. I was just looking to increase the tire size for a wider stance.

My GT (not PE) has 255/45/20 tires and they work just fine, no rubbing.

FYI, kinda late response since I just joined the forums, but I removed my perilli 245/45/20's on my 2023 Ford Mach-E GT/PE AWD for a set of 265/45/20's Michelin Pilot Sport EV model at discount tire, wow what a difference in handling and performance, if you order the tire online it will limit you to 255 width, I had to go to the discount tire location and the tech certified it would install the 265's, be sure to have your pucks for installation, I got mine from amazon - Amazon.com: RULLINE Lifting Jack Pads Set - Premium Floor Jack Stand Bundle Compatible with Mustang Mach-E Accessories : Automotive

for anyone who is reading, i have the exact same tires on mine and there is no rubbing

I also have a set of 255/45/20 105y but not on the factory rims. One thing to keep in mind is these have a higher 105 load rating. The higher load rating means they will support more weight so effectively you should lower the pressure to 36psi. The 265/45/20 XL 108 will work but pressure should be even lower 33psi and this will have an effect on the efficiency. It will also soften the ride

Have you noticed any range loss with the wider tire?

None that I can see, I have been driving around testing it and I do not see any difference in my range at all. The Michelin is an EV specific tire so I think the small size increase is just not going to make much difference in range, compared to if I purchased a non-EV version.
