I mean I would think that would be one of the basic specs you would look up before purchasing a vehicle if you frequently tow something…..

The USA has zero tow rating. European hitch has reinforcing plate inside the frame to spread the load. We in the USA understand it as 3300lbs which is what 1500kg?

True, but, I think that only applies to the 2025/26 none GT variants. Which is soo annoying

At least you have the ability to tow. In North America the Mach e is not rated for towing even though it is capable. Insurance company (Canada) let me know I can add a hitch for a rack, but if I tow something and get in an accident I’m would not be covered.

In NZ (I guess Australia is the same?) the 23 models have these ratings:
RWD 750kg
AWD 1500 kg
GT 750 kg

I have the GT, so not much point getting a tow bar really

I decided to purchase a 2025 Mitsubishi Triton VRX ute to tow my caravan and carry the golf clubs. My 2023 MME GTPE can only tow 750KGs in NZ. The Mitsi tows the caravan very well with great range of 600ks.
