Trip log has disappeared from Ford Pass

Ford Pass used to display a month's worth of my recent trips. It seems to have disappeared from the app. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, and noticed the alert for it-dated July 19 as well.

I asked Ford via chat for an update as to when this “Temporary“ item would be fixed. They did not know a timeline.

While the message posted above (and in my account) also says you can get the history from the car… but you lose the info when you turn the car off. I chatted with 2 different advisors.

They both started with me by telling me the same line that you can get it from the car. I told them it goes away, and the advisors were surprised. One advisor gave up and transferred me to a more senior advisor.

The second adviser after about 30 mins of research and chatting with me ultimately came back with no solution, but said the dealership may be able to recover the data from the car memory, however, I am very skeptical they can, and she was not sure they could either.

I recommend that people contact Ford and also ask when the feature will come back, as this may tell Ford to make it a priority.

Best you check it today as mine was working on the 23rd as well and only stopped working 2 days ago. If yours is still working then it might be specific to the MME and not the Lightning

Oh no. This was a very useful feature. I have been using it for planning. That was the only true way to figure out how much energy was used. (The GOM isn't super accurate as we all know.)

Can we have this back? @Ford Motor Company?

It's being improved. We'll get it back when it works right.

Trip 1 or trip 2 only are useful to record the previous trip if you reset it at the start of the journey. The second you turn the car off it clears the current trip and there is no logging.

He said he needed something for planning. Trip 1 and Trip 2 are historical measures, depending on when you reset them. If one has no clue as to the efficiency they get on a trip, they yield SOME information...

I never reset Trip 2 ever. It has my lifetime efficiency, except it doesn't because the vehicle's data got wiped at one point by the systems. I know that I get 2.9 to 3.0 on the highway. I plan at 2.7. I don't need to pull up any trip (and in fact never looked at that data because it was faulty) to plan a trip in general.

Agreed...and like you, I never reset trip 2 but my data was wiped as yours was because of a firmware update.

I am just annoyed that there is no way to get the data from the current once you turn the car off. I am curious if our data will be recorded and reported after the function is restored.
