That is exactly what we need Ford to do.From the rumblings I have heard, Ford is working on their own API process to actually have third party apps do these tasks in a secure method. These handshakes are not the safest thing to do from a security perspective so until Ford has an API service to do it securely without having to use your own credentials they will block it. Also Ford plans to charge for the new API usage, so we will see how many developers adopt it and pay.
For now, the best option is to wait and not risk your account.
