I'd be interested in a step-by-step for getting vehicle data to Tronity. I get lost in Ford Pro somewhere along the way.

Thanks Mark, looking forward to that.

When you do would you also please provide a tutorial on getting your OBD reader to communicate with ABRP? Thanks.
It is not a tutorial, but I posted the results of using Tronity with ABRP here:
https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/using-abrp-with-tronity-and-a-obdii-scanner.38458/

To get it to work, you need a BLE+ OBDII Scanner. The one I have is Veepeak, purchased here:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Veepack-...ner/5343022151?classType=REGULAR&from=/search

It looks like it is out of stock, but all you need is a BLE+ scanner and I think ABRP will find it when you open the app and add a new connection.

you might want to skim other posts in this thread, as with any other third party using data from your car, it's a potential to lock you out of fordpass as a security breach.

Tronity claims to have an approved interface with Ford. Regardless, I created a second Ford account and linked it to my VIN. If it ever does get locked, my primary account will be fine.

BTW - Ford locked my primary account over a year ago because I was using it with Tronity. Then Tronity removed Ford vehicles from their service until they could get an approved interface. They turned Ford back on in January. My second account has not been locked. So far, so good.
