Trunk release from inside vehicle

Solution to those trying to find truck release icon on display. Yes, press center button (topleft) this brings up drive mode screen and previous posts state that trunk and frunk release icons are at top left of this screen but they neglect to say that these are icons are barely visible in daylight (not visible) but if you go into garage (darker environment) they suddenly appear.

Uh, they‘re at the top right (not left). I can see mine fine in the daylight. Maybe you should adjust your screen brightness.

It’s in the upper right corner as @generaltso said. It’s not the world’s brightest icon but it’s still quite visible even with the screen in white mode.

Uh, they‘re at the top right (not left). I can see mine fine in the daylight. Maybe you should adjust your screen brightness.

It’s in the settings, also i keep mine in Dark mode all the time. Makes it easier to read everything. (There is also a button next to the headlight switch to adjust the brightness)

This is a solution b/c the OP is helping folks "find the Solution to those trying to find truck release icon on display". Nothing more and nothing less. The liftgate button is hardly 'buried in settings'. It takes < 1 second to tap the Settings button from any screen, and another < 1 second to tap the trunk release button.

Agreed. Assuming no screen lag and the fastest fingers in human history. But hey, we all know that opening the trunk is a setting.
