My brother ordered a Tesla Model 3 on August 1, 2021. On September 27th,Tesla delivered his new car to his house (56 days).

I ordered a 2021 Premium Mach-e on 8/13/2021. I recently received a notice that I will now get a 2022 model. However, the ADM went from zero to over $50,000. My Mach-e cost increased to $108,000.

As of this date, I do not have a production date (or delivery date), and I have no answers from my dealer as to the cost increase.

So...first post....got it.

Because of your post I cancelled our 4X order that’s scheduled for delivery in 2 weeks, I ordered a Model Y Performance tonight and I’m so excited. Tesla already delivered it from Fremont to Austin, maybe the new manufacturing facility is already making them?! Idk. But it’s great! My list of quality issues isn’t even that long:

1. Ordered red but got refrigerator white.

2. They decided to delete the steering wheel and instead of a yoke I got a pair of Vice-Grips clamped to the steering column shaft with an IOU post it note.

3. The front interior smells like new Star Wars figurines but the back smells like G.I. Joes.

4. It seems to want to drive straight at emergency vehicles that have their red/blue flashing lights on.

5. The rear bumper detached when I drove over a melted ice cube in the driveway.

6. Our cockapoo jumped out of the rear door panel gap while we were driving.

7. When I opened the rear hatch I found a half-smoked doobie and “Elon wuz Here 4/20” was scratched into the plastic trim.

8. I found an internal Tesla memo in the glovebox that says FSD really stands for Find Some Donors.

But, it sure is fast and there’s like 2311 Superchargers near my house. So, I’m good with it! ??
