My Focus RS had the same situation...I cut an extra drain hole with a 1" circular bit.
See my post about the mat replacement at eBay. I remember seeing a Focus version.

The photo with the snow is in the “engine bay” of the Mach-E. With the frunk tub removed.
The aero cover is forward of the battery tray. Covering the front suspension and steering parts.
Oh! Thanks! I’ve never removed the frunk tub and hope I never have to!

If the Mustang Mach-E has the same type of mat, it is possible that this vendor will offer a similar mat replacement this year.
Why? There is nothing up there to service.

Also, the same type of mat is on the rear. Basically the underside is mat, battery, mat.

That is a great illustration of one of my pet peeves with Ford's PHEV and BEVs. That damn diaper holds everything. With our Fusion Energi, it would literally melt for days on end. Or, in a big rainstorm, it would drip a huge puddle of water forever. Mach-E will do the same, we haven't had much snow for it to collect, but it will do the same.
I am probably going to add some 'skirts' in wheel wells to deflect snow, slush, with wire mesh to prevent rodents.... we have lots of rabbits in my area that look for cozy places like this to nest if you leave a car outside for more than a day.

We had an issue with some rodent (could have been a chipmunk also) eating wires on my son's car parked outside. And it was an older model car without the wiring they like. We park ours in the garage. Neighbor parks cars outside, but they use them daily. I don't know how they haven't had issues.

With my screwing around with wiring and trying to get the pony outline glow done, my frunk tub has been in and out more than a proctologist’s finger.
