I have a 2021 Premium AWD JOB 1 EA. (95KW battery) Predominantly been using EA for fast charging on road trips. I have noticed irregardless if I am at EA 350Kw chargers or 150Kw, the charge at best case seens to be like 110kw, and quickly drops down to the 80-90KW range.
Curious. Is it
my pony requesting a lower rate or the EA reducing output? Any way to tell? What should I be expecting on a good day?

on the ER, the peak of 150-162kw is only during 2-3 minutes, then drops to 110-80kw
on the SR, the peak of 115-125kw same, then drops to 95-90kw

what is important is the specs:

ER is rated for 45min 20-80% and it stays within specs at 80kwh
SR is rated for 38mn 20-80% and same, does it within specs at 75-80kwh

The real matter is the curve, not the peak charging rate

now SR LFP will be able to charge faster because LFP can handle more C than NCM so LFP may be able to charge 20-80% in 25min

@Anders31 is correct.

Would not worry about peak rate but overall charge.

Could be a number of reasons but peak charge rate is not consistent as many factors come into play - temperatures, start of SOC, rate of charge tower output, etc..

I never worry - sometimes it's faster than I expected, other times slower than I expect...
