I've only had my GTP for a few days and haven't gotten a chance to drive it much due to travel. Today felt like the car was dragging a bit. From a stop, putting the pedal down seemed to take some time to start moving. Is this normal?

I should say, this is my 7th EV. Multiple performance model 3s, a P85D MS, 2 R1Ts and a MS plaid. I'm more curious about this particular car. SOC was around 78%

Doesn’t sound normal. Are your breaks dragging? It should pin you to your seat the split second you step on it.

Your GT-PE (GTP is a trim on the Pontiac Grand Prix) should not feel like that. I drive my GT-PE in 2PD without auto hold and while it has a microscopic bit of throttle lag, it pretty much gets moving right away. ??

Thanks lol, ok… my GT-PE, I’ll report back in the am. I’m not sure what was going on. I went through all the settings and couldn’t figure it out.

It feels like there’s hesitation, not dragging

Strange.
Electric lag?
Something isn't right.
Latency... All digital electronic devices suffer from it. It's small and most often imperceptible, but it's there. Whether it's the result of communications collisions, impedance mismatches, command overhead, or whatever. ??

If you suspect dragging, put the car in neutral and see how it coasts. It should take a long time to slow down. Roll the windows down and listen for a dragging noise while coasting. Then press the brake to see and hear how that feels.

It didn’t feel like dragging. It’s a hesitation, could have been the weather? It was over 100 today.

Ok, I think I might have figured it out… yesterday, when I noticed this, I wasn’t wearing my seatbelt (I know, I know… I should know better as a trauma nurse), I was leaving the gym. Anyway, today it seems to be ok. I’ll report back later. Thanks for the ideas!

Are you using premium electricity? Regular could cause knocks and pings ?
