I don't think you have the grasp of physics and its relationship to cornerning that you think you have.... Not particularly interested in a huge debate or spending 30 minutes trying to explain free body diagrams, but your interpretation of what centripetal force is doing to the car is not accurate.I’m accused of taking corners too fast. But I know for a fact it’s better to accelerate through cornering. People erroneously think the force of the turn will throw the car outside the curve and hit the brakes. In fact the centripetal force is toward the inside of the curve and its best to accelerate, within safe speed if course.
Just so you don't dismiss me out of hand, I have a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a pretty deep understanding of automotive dynamics.
