Mach E extended range 2022 plate
Wondering if anyone has had the same symptoms and can advise on the outcome. Mach E extended range 22 plate, all fine then next day would not start. Headlights came on as usual, all doors would open (not locked), nothing on the dash or screen. On pressing the on button it would just flash green and nothing else happened. Trunk would not open, frunk would open fine. Key would not lock or unlock (tried both keys) the car.) Tried bumping the 12v battery, AA tried bumping it and reset it, nothing. Been with Ford dealer for 4 weeks now. They have changed the 12v battery but still will not start. They are now changing the BCM module but don’t know whether that is the problem or not. Any suggestions?

Sounds like it is not recognizing the brake depress and going to Accessory mode. Check the brake pedal operates the brake lights. It might be a faulty switch or simply out of adjustment.

Looks like the dealer jumped into the deep end first. They may have codes that point to the problem that we can't see.

Update: You mentioned it won't open the truck (rear hatch). This may also be keeping the car from starting. If the latch isn't recognizing it is closed, it may cause these types of symptoms. Door locks are not a physical actuator like other cars so the keyfob lock/unlock in this case won't show any activity if the rear hatch latch is causing grief.
