I placed an order via Ford.com for a Mach E back in Sept. 2021 to be delivered to Dealership A. I got lucky in October there was exact spec Mach E available to sell at another dealership B. So I bought it and the next day I called dealership A that I want to cancel and return my $500 deposit.
This dealership is very confused about how to cancel Mach E orders. They mention every Ford car order can be canceled online except Mach E for some reason. I follow up pretty much every 2 weeks and they kept on saying "still checking with their Ford contacts" or "I'm asking my manager". As of now, my order in my online account is still showing active and not scheduled for production yet.
Anyone can give me some tips on how I can get my $500 back? it has been 3 months and this dealership is clueless on a process that I am assuming it should be kind of common? Thanks for your help......
