My Select AWD Standard Range is giving me an estimate of nearly 250 miles!
Based on the posts I've read, I know it's not accurate, but I'm still happy about this.

Also, I've driven 4500 miles in one month of ownership and have had zero issues that would make me regret my purchase. I just want people to know that there are satisfied owners out there and not everyone is experiencing issues causing disappointment. I truly couldn't be more pleased with this vehicle!! I hope the negativity on here doesn't dissuade potential buyers and that everyone experiencing issues is able to solve them so that you can have as much enjoyment as I am!! The only negativity I can share is that I'm having so much fun driving that the excess mileage is decreasing my vehicles life expectancy. Maybe loud the fan noise during charging, and decreased fast charging speed past 80% will extend the life of the battery past 200,000 miles!!!

Typically the GOM is very conservative. The 248 could be accurate. What is your miles/kWH efficiency? Multiply that by 68 for your current actual range.

I also have a select awd and the same thing happened. After a few weeks it started showing a range of 250 miles or even more on a full 100% charge. Mostly I only charge it to 90% and it reads 211. In my experience it is actually pretty accurate too.

I'm averaging 3.5 m/kWH so 238 is better than I expected. Still impressed.

at almost 5000 mi, I'm averaging 3.9mi/kwh in a FE. It's bonkers.
Also, if you want your battery to last 200k+ miles, don't charge past 90% (per the owner's manual)

I don't usually charge past 90. However, I was headed out on a longer than usual trip today so charged up to 100 just to be sure I had enough range.

Thanks!

Yeah, sure... If most of your driving is within a town with stops and go, sure, estimated 211 can go to 240-250. But as soon as you make a 400 miles one way trip to some destination - sorry, but you won't be able to get even 211 (though, it is expected as the highway range is less than 211), unless you drive at 60 mph all the way :). My point is - when you state some numbers, you have to describe where and how you drive most of the time. Just for people who read that to know what to expect and not to wonder why their MMEs are not showing such awesome numbers :).

I love that some of you live in states where you have lots of highways where you CAN go more than 60 mph all the way. Virginia has only a precious few up to 70 mph; the majority are 55 mph.

Ha-ha... I live right near the exit from I-680 here in Bay Area, so, unfortunately for my mileage, almost all of my driving involves highway driving - I guess that's why my Premium STD RWD with 230 miles range estimate has never seen that number after 2 months and almost 1700 miles.

Also, I think having so many Teslas around, makes me drive faster than necessary - I just can't allow them to think we (MMEs) are too slow :)

I sometimes take trips to Williamsburg or Virginia Beach from DC, much of that trip is 70+ MPH. But you are right, the beltway is almost strictly 55 MPH.
