VIN and Window Sticker?

Forgive me if this is already posted somewhere and I just couldn't find it...

After months of waiting, I finally got a build week of 5/9 a week and a half ago. ?

When should I expect to get a VIN#?

And where on the order info page will that information be located? Can someone share a screenshot if possible?

The VIN will be located right under the picture of your car.

I logged into my account and I don’t have anything under the picture of the car but I’m scheduled for 5/16, any ideas? Saw the post about going about it a different way with seg.fyi but I couldn’t figure out how to get that to work.

You need to use a desktop computer, since mobile device browsers do not support developer tools without being tethered to a desktop. Unless the UI programmers changed something drastically about the web site, the instructions on seg.fyi should net you the VIN. ??

I tried it on my laptop using Firefox and chrome and can’t figure it out. I’ve opened the tool but cannot find the info anywhere that it’s saying to find

For me I got my VIN 10 days before my build week. I got mine on a Friday.

I got mine in an email telling me when my vehicle was scheduled for production.

Huh, the instructions written by @TheSeg for extraction were pretty easy to follow back when I was trying to get info. Perhaps Ford changed something fundamentally on the status page that foils this method? ?‍?

I got a build week, 5/9 and the VIN when I called a Ford customer support number. 800-334-4375. Had to give them an order code and the dealer code which were both on the order form. That's how the rep looked it up. I have not received any email. Give it a try.

Just to prevent anyone else from resurrecting this later...

Update: yes I received my VIN and window sticker. And my car should be arriving at the dealer any day now. For those of you finding this because you're also freaking out because your car is taking forever to get a build date, etc, don't worry, it will happen! And hopefully before long we'll be out of the supply chain nightmare and these terribly long waits for such an exciting car will be nothing but a bad memory.
