Has anyone else installed the lighted wheel caps? On the fence. I'm thinking red would look nice with the Rapid Red - but would like to know if anyone else has done that yet.

I bought the red ones but haven't installed yet...still trying to figure out the best way to install (they don't come with instructions) and get feedback from anyone else that has put them on regarding install/durability/removal

Install is just pull the tire and push the original cap out from behind. Pop the new cap in from the front. Takes about 60 seconds per tire.

Caps look cool! Does each cap have a removable battery? Wondering if they only light up when dark out so will last….

Hmmmm… I might need to either get or find someone with a Cricut machine. Solid black is a bit much on my wheels.

There is no battery. It’s a little generator inside each cap that creates electricity as the tires spin. So they power themselves with each spin of the wheel.
