Voice command/Gemini shuts off immediately after activating it.

I have a 2023 Mach E California Route 1 with 43,000 miles. I have an annoying issue where when I press and hold the voice command button to activate Google's Gemini, it turns on and then immediately turns off. It is completely random at the moment. I am not sure if it is an Android issue or a Mach E issue. The only way I know to fix it is to turn the car off and then back on. 4/5 times it works. It had the same issue when I had Google Assistant so it wasn't an app issue.

Just wondering if anyone experienced this and how to fix it?

My girlfriend's Android is the same, and I also had this issue on my Mazda MX 30. It clearly is an Android Auto issue.
