I love Waffle House! Sadly, there are none around me (the nearest is over 50 miles away!)
We have a Waffle house just down the road from my house. Daughter loves for us to pedal over and get an egg sandwich. A bit pricey for breakfast food but nice employees. That said in that area of town we do not visit after dark, gets a little dangerous at night, the difference a few blocks makes.

As for charging, ya, not there for sure. Rather go to WaWa to charge if on the road, of course our WaWa just put in a bank of Teslas, but again they are in an area that requires you pay for your fountain drink before you vend....

The Waffle House Index is used across their range by FEMA (or at least they did before the dismantling started)

Both Waffle House and Buc-ees have their issues. It should take longer to eat at Waffle House than it does to charge, so I'm guessing they'll have liberal dwell times. Buc-ee's has a similar problem but it's because it takes so long to get to the bathroom and back -- but at least you get some steps in.
I’ve never been to a buc-ees. I live in Wawa (and now Sheetz) country.

I love Waffle House. There are a couple within 10 minutes of my house, and many others pretty close.

But-ee’s is a whole ā€˜ nother animal - a beaver, ha-ha. Seriously though, it’s like it’s own micro planet. It’s about the size of Walmart, with about 100 gas pumps, two sets of chargers, tons of barbecue, jerky and a horde of humanity inside and out, oh and hunting stuff too (?). I think I’m over it but it’s worth it to see it.
