Waiting Over One Year

Ordered my car October 10, 2021 from Boston area dealer. Iced Blue, AWD Extended Battery. Car finally built end of August. Still waiting!! Delivery keeps getting pushed off. Car in Newark NJ in early September. Railcar number provided by Ford has car going since then west from New Jersey to NY, PA , Ohio and Illinois. Then headed east to Virginia. Latest delivery date from Ford text says in October 4 to 9 (today). Rail car today is still in VA. Ford and my dealer doesn't have a clue where the car is. Ford is so bad. You would think they would know where their cars are and care what the customer thinks.

370 days from original order and still waiting!!!

If you ordered 10/10 and today is 10/10, wouldn't that be 366 days?

Seriously though, I feel your pain. I ended up waiting 49 weeks including 2 months after it made it to Kansas City (it went from Kansas City to Dallas via Seattle for some reason). The normal dealership model never anticipated customers having the type of visibility into the transportation process that we have right now and it's certainly exposing some inefficiencies.

I agree. All I can say is that it was totally worth the wait for me and I hope it is for you too.

Makes me happy I bought off lot. Immediate gratification is worth something, not 5k, but probably what ADM I paid.
