Hi all,
Not sure if anyone else has had this issue.
IOS Waze update (4.77) from 5 days ago has caused CarPlay not to load Waze automatically.
Normally I would place my iphone on the charge mat. Start the car and let everything boot up. my last setting on CarPlay is waze. It would pop up on the screen and off I go.
Now, it boots up showing all the CarPlay apps. I hit Waze app and nothing happens.
I have deleted waze app and reinstalled. Also reset Carplay on iphone.
The only way I can get it to work is if I turn on Waze on the phone before I start the car.
Contacted Waze. This was their response.

Please know that as of July 2021, Waze no longer supports SmartDeviceLink.
If you encounter issues with this system, please reach out to your device manufacturer or car dealership for assistance.
Hopefully an update of either Waze or Sync 4 will fix this for me.
