Weird unresponsive screen bug?

Only had my car a couple weeks, so I’m not sure if this is normal or I hit a strange button or something.

Got in my car, started, and drove home from work. Hit no buttons (that I know of).

Noticed a screen I have never seen before and no matter what button I push, it wouldn’t respond or go away and many of my controls were grayed out or missing (like hvac, seat heaters etc).

It didn’t go away until I put it in park. Thoughts?

Its the parking system. For some reason it's just showing the car radar vs the cameras. Not sure if all trim levels have the 360 camera, but maybe yours does not??

When the parking cameras/radar is up it does not allow you to do anything to the screen. Once you put it in park then it shuts that stuff off, or if you put more distance from the object. Looks like you are in your garage, so I'm guessing it was picking up the walls and turning it on.

My car got OTA update yesterday, so I noticed a few changes but everything seems to be working fine. Perhaps something didn't go well with your update, perhaps rebooting the car can help.

I have 360 cameras and they worked fine when I backed out of the parking space.

I then drove home (about a mile) but seems it never turned them off?

The pic and video above are from when I pulled into my driveway, there was nothing within 30 feet of the car and the screen was like that while driving home.

Oh... well that is an important piece of the puzzle lol

Whenever Synch is doing something weird, reboot it. VOLUME DOWN then the RIGHT ARROW button on the steering wheel till it reboots. I know its a little late now, but if it does it again try that.

Nope.. Only way I knew 1.7.1 was attempting to install is when I got in my car and the display could not be seen. Its one of the lovely bugs of 1.7.

Yes, I first noticed message on my phone. The car is showing 1.7.1 version now.
