What are these?

Through this terrific forum I learned that if I wanted my cargo mat to fit better I would need to lower the 'floor' panel. During this process I found these red blocks. What are they?

Think those are placed in the front springs during shipping.

They actually have a set they put in the front springs and another set in the rear. The dealer is supposed to remove and dispose of them during PDI. Several forum members found that theirs were not removed. ??

So.....the question (rhetorical) becomes what happened to the other pair?....if somebody took the care to put 2 in my back hatch. Oh brother.

My guess is that they took out one pair and threw them out like they’re supposed to. They took out this pair and put them in the cargo area with the intention of dumping them but forgot to toss them. Crawl under the car to see if there are two still installed? ?‍?

Close the book on this; all springs are clear. Dunno where the other wedges went and I wont worry.

For about ten seconds, I feared the dealer left some big metal thing under my car, and I was scraping it along as I drove out of the dealership. "Ohhh, they probably left the spring blocks in". Yup...
