Hi gang,

So I recently bought my MME second hand from an independent dealer.

When I collected the car I was given:
- locking wheel nuts
- two bags of charging kit (one with a type 2 lead, a couple of cleaning mits and one with a home domestic charger)
- 2x key fobs

And that was it. I assumed there was no users manual as we’re in the modern electronic age.

Having got home and got through the first phase of tinkering with the car I thought I’d setup the door unlocking with the keypad - and realised I don’t have the factory code.

Which got me to thinking what else am I missing.

Ive also not got a service log book for stamps - should I have?

I’ll go back to the dealer to get the door code.

Thanks in advance
Richard.

I had a similar experience a couple years ago when I got mine. Realizing that I didn’t have the factory door code sent me back to the dealer. Voila! I was given the door code card and the printed manuals. Oh, and I only got one fob, … until a year later?.

There's no printed manual or service book. Everything's electronic. Your FordPass should have record of service details. Yes, back to the dealer for the door code.

Here's an online manual; https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...e=USA&VIN=&userMarket=USA&div=f&buildtype=web

Here's the PDF version https://www.fordservicecontent.com/...-Owners-Manual_version-1_om_EN-US_10_2021.pdf

US versions but probably 99% applicable.

If you didn’t get the little card with the door code, the easiest way to get it, as was previously said, is to ask your dealer. Alternatively, you could pull things apart in the passenger footwell and get it off of the sticker on the BCM.

Thanks for all the responses....

Yes I did get the tyre pump - phew!

Looks like I got everything I should, apart from the code to the door.... Will chase up.

Thanks team.
