What do these updates do?

I have a 2023.5 GTPE. Thanks to @21st Century Pony , I got a list of updates from FDRS. The dealer took the car and completed 1 major update - APIM.

However, they refused to update the others, and provided every big-corp bureaucratic excuse (I.e., the updates might break the car; they will come OTA eventually; we have to perform HW diagnostics based on symptoms first). I think the service manger came over and ground everything to a halt.

does anyone have detail on what these updates actually do? Has anyone had a dealer experience where they actually cooperate?

Sure, it would be great to have but it won't do you any good until you get the others. It will be coming to your car soon as a PowerUp.

Correct. Even the 2023.5 Mach Es are getting the 6.x and higher PowerUps as they leave the factory with BC 1.3 and will need the updates to move to the latest BlueCruise. Getting one or two module updates via FDRS won't help that process along. The IPC update in 6.8.0 changes everyone else's IPC to the configuration already found in 2023.5s from the factory.

Tempted to find out what list of updates I'm missing but maybe ignorance is bliss...

Sorry, I assumed that's what it meant. I guess I just don't know how I find out? I bought it off a lot but I don't know how long it sat there. Probability probably says it's first half...

Second half only has 90 day trial of BC. When does your BC expire?
