What happened to my puddle lamps?

They seem to be gone and I haven't seen them for a while. At first I thought I was missing them in the garage (ie. They turned off before I made it down the stairs), but a few days ago I approached my car on a dark street and saw nothing while the parking lights did activate. Neither side activates so it isn't a bad lamp.

There isn't a setting is there? It's still under warranty, but honestly I'd be dropping the car off for two weeks and the dealer has no clue about these vehicles. Doesn't seem worth it.

i have had the same problem for the past 2 years with my 23GTPE. very intermittent puddle lighting.

the other day i started wondering if maybe the car is going into deep sleep mode and thus not waking up when approaching with the key.

The puddle lamps will not come on unless the mirrors are folded. Has your auto-fold somehow been disabled? ?‍?

There is a setting to enable this, but at the moment I forget where to find it. But they only light (or are only supposed to light) when the mirrors are folded in. Are they?

Ford software OTAs will reset settings and I saw my puddle lights disabled in any update back in June. It’s two settings I think - Welcome lighting and auto fold mirrors. The lights only appear when the mirrors are folded.
