My wife's 2023 MME was totaled last week.
Local dealer has 2024 end-of-year "bargain" to replace her car for ~$46K out-the-door, with LT Gray perforated seats.
I would like to wait for a 2025 with Gray "Ventilated seats," as we live in the Phoenix metro.
The 2025 will probably be at least $6K more.
Is it worth the extra $$ to have a '25 with breezy seats?

I'm sorry to hear about your wife's 2023 MME being totaled. I hope everyone is okay. How much is your insurance going to give you for the 2023?
I think the 2025 model is starting 3k cheaper, and it may take 5 to 6 months to see some discounts on the 2025 model. Along with cooled seats, they retuned the rear suspension and added new blue cruise hardware. (expect some updates on BC)

Thanks for your thoughts. My wife is fine, but the MME is toast
Mid $30's on the 2023.
I'm pretty sure I can wait for the 2025, IF I can get any type of discount off from MSRP. Tax and title in AZ are almost 10%.

Glad to hear that your wife is ok! You may want to try what I did. I reached out to Granger Ford because of the offer I saw posted https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/2025-mach-e-5-under-msrp-granger-motors.40310/. I sent them an email with my specs and they sent me an email back with the details priced out with the 5% discount under MSRP. If you read the first post in that thread, he encourages using their quote to shop local. Needless to say, my local dealership agreed to match the price. It’s worth a shot.

Take a look at the lease rebates. They’re better than the purchase rebates by about $7500 Or more. I’m pretty sure though, that the current rebates expire on Jan 2nd.

2 weeks ago, I was able to stack 6 rebates to get my 2024 AWD Premium ER for $43k +tax and tags. $46k OTD seems reasonable to me.

A good price would be $10k off MSRP plus tax.
My sticker was just shy of $54k. Price was $44k and change +tax and tags. Basically $10k below MSRP. I know that some of the rebates expire this week.

The deals seem to be regional, and vary by dealer motivation. We leased a loaded Premium 4X in November from a volume dealer for $15K off cap cost, so deals are out there if you put the work into finding them. I would also presume '24's will continue to get harder to find. Good luck!

If you’re leasing it’s a great deal on 24s as they’re trying to make way for the 25s. We just got our Premium AWD ER in November over $11k of incentives. If your buying the 25s are looking to be $3-5k cheaper and include heat pump (not useful for AZ). Not sure how that works out with the current incentives but a few improvements.

So, we ordered a 2025 Premium AWD with extended range battery last week. Light gray seats - now ventilated/ air conditioned on the Premium for '25 and we get the heat pump, which isn't a big deal for you guys in AZ. Panoramic glass roof... MSRP was $52K, as the 2025's are CHEAPER than 2024. Dealer gave us a discount of $3K off, So $49K purchase price, less if current incentives hold and/or new incentives come along. If it's delivered before the end of March, current incentives are another $2500 off as we can take $1K for the charger/install credit and $1500 more for the Tesla conquest, owning a Model Y.

Best price we could find on a '24 configured the same, but of course no ventilated seats or heat pump, was $46K. And these are just purchase price, not including tax and license. The new one we ordered was going to cost us $1800 more if we can get it by the end of March. Now that Ford extended the charger credit, it's only $800 more than buying that '24 off the lot... Dealerships we talked to weren't real keen on the whole '25 models being cheaper thing. Especially that we knew they were going to be cheaper. They were taking $4K off the top on existing '24 inventory and that was only making it the same price as a '25...

For us, waiting for the '25 is worth it for the cooled seats, I'm a big fan of them. We're in Colorado, but I drive through NM and AZ quite a bit. And of course the heat pump for a bit of help in the cold. Also, my wife really wanted the Molten Magenta color so we ordered that. Personally I wanted Glacier Gray and that was her second choice. We almost bought a '24 Glacier Gray, but decided to wait since they couldn't do us a better deal. Really, we would have bought the '24 if not for the '25s being almost $4000 cheaper for MSRP. I have seen some people getting better deals than what we could find, but nothing that would warranty shipping or traveling to pick it up. Locally here around Denver, and most of the state, there are too many people willing to pay full price and dealerships rarely make deals. I did order from out of state, though. Once again, dealers here were refusing to budge from MSRP on ordering a '25.

Sorry if I rambled... Just talking through it. I do think the deals on the '24s will get better over the coming weeks as the 2025s just went into production.

As a TL;DR to my other post, you can. I've ordered a 2025 Premium AWD extended range, panoramic glass roof, one-time connectivity option, interior protection / rubber mats, for $49K. With current incentives, it will be $46.5K if I can take delivery by the end of March. And I get a $3500 tax credit from the state (Colorado) for 2025.

Through the dealership. Actually, the famous Granger Motors. They're doing 5% below MSRP on the 2025's. And they gave it another little bump of like $500 more off because I've bought a few vehicles from them, including my Lightning.

Others have already suggested it in this thread, but definitely hit them up for a quote to use as a bargaining chip. Showing it to a couple other dealers locally worked a bit, but they wouldn't match the full 5%. Actually one local dealer would, but they had like $800 in bogus fees on the deal so had to pass.

I don't mind the out of state pickup from them as I can get a $35 one-way flight from Denver to DesMoines on Frontier (hate Frontier, but sometimes they serve a purpose). And then just road-trip it back, about 650 miles... Although, my Lightning purchase turned into a nearly 3-day return trip due to a huge EA charging network failure that weekend. That's another story I've told on the Lightning forums. But EA has greatly improved their reliability over the past couple years and I've driven the I-80 corridor for much of that route a few times since, so I know what I'm getting into. And we can use some of the Tesla chargers too now.
