They likely are sending data to these systems in scheduled batches vs real time/on-demand. I would guess their master erp used at the plants and HQ is live data but the different online systems get data exported out in different cadences (e.g., dealer portal updated hourly, online systems updated daily, etc.). Until they started selling cars via online reservations with 6 months delays, they didn’t need real time data for dealers or customers. Based on some of the interviews posted lately it seems like they were overwhelmed by the Mach-e orders and learned how critical regular updates and date accuracy are for customers and they are working to improve the process for the Lightning reservations/orders.Wondering why there is a time lag if they pull from the same source. My dealer sent me a screenshot of the order report, showing a production date, but none of the trackers I checked show it yet.
