I just talked to my sales guy and have also been seeing reports on Reddit that the fix is available to dealers as of this afternoon. Seems like Ford got it out just a bit early.

No word on the OTA yet for already sold cars, but if you are waiting on delivery, you probably won't have to wait long.

So why can't the Stop Safely Now MME recall be handled the same way? Ford?

Program 22S17 for the trailer brake recall was announced to dealers on March 29th. So here we are 3 months later and the OTAs are rolling out for it.

Our recall 22S41 was announced June 13th and it's expected OTAs will start in late July, only one month later.

EDIT: Ford got their game on and just released the software today! ??15 days after advance notice. A big pat on the back to the engineers that worked hard to get this out fast!
