I’ve never experienced this here. Most Southerners are too polite to say something negative to your face??‍ Your back is free game.?

In the south you can also say "bless his/her heart" and say pretty much anything as long as you say it before or after a negative statement.

I’ve had mine for almost 6 months now and I get loads of compliments and questions (so many that I joked to my husband that it should have come with a warning for introverts like me). I had a guy shout “not a mustang” at me in a parking lot once but whatever. Everyone who’s ever ridden or driven my car loves it.

I've said this before, but using the Mustang intellectual property - the name recognition, the pony logo, styling, even the controversy - for this vehicle is what made it a hit. People say "you could change the name and it would be the same car and you wouldn't piss off the Mustang enthusiasts", but then you'd also have to redesign it by taking out the Mustang looks... And then it would have ended up looking like the Chevy Bolt or something and it would have been a flop, or have mediocre sales figures. (No offense to Bolt owners/enthusiasts.)

We are in parallel universe. I'm in Southern California with dealer that has put me at rock bottom priority (and high deposit) for the entire 22 weeks of waiting. They now don't respond to inquiry. I wonder if it's the dealer or AutoNation Ford? or because the order is for premium AWD ER?
feeling a bit swan-bit by Ford.

Very satisfied with the Ioniq 5, thank goodness.
