I do like the horsey, but it wouldn't bother me if it was called something else/had a different logo.

I still don't have a mustang logo vehicle. And, the BEV I do have doesn't have a spiffy logo but I like it just fine.

I still enjoy driving my 70 Z-28 which is loud, has 2 doors and costs a fortune to fill the tank (I still use leaded racing fuel at $12.00/gal mixed with Ethanol free gas.

You have no idea what "costs a fortune to fill the tank" is like until you fill my wife's Lincoln Navigator's 33 gallon tank at current $5.99 per gallon prices in California.

If you want to talk about vehicle names, Elon Musk wanted to name his 4th vehicle the Model E, but Ford had already trademarked that name, so he settled for Model 3 (the only model that uses a number instead of a letter). Then he named his 5th vehicle the Model Y, all so he could spell out S3XY on his website. I'm happy that Ford doesn't have a CEO that does things like this or get into Twitter spats with politicians and Russian generals ?. I actually like Elon Musk though, but some of the fan boys need to get off his junk.

I suppose they would point to any of the dozen or so mustang logos. To me, those say mustang...just because the word doesn't appear doesn't mean anything. Hell if it weren't for the windshield that says Ford on it the car wouldn't say Ford either.

I posted on Facebook about our new MME when we took delivery. I got a text from someone showing a Mustang II & an MME and saying that it is the ugliest Mustang ever. Kinda pissed me off, but just put on my Teflon clothes.

I’ve had mine for almost 6 months now and I get loads of compliments and questions (so many that I joked to my husband that it should have come with a warning for introverts like me). I had a guy shout “not a mustang” at me in a parking lot once but whatever. Everyone who’s ever ridden or driven my car loves it.

Neither does the one on the front of my Mach E...just like the one on the front of my 2004 Mach 1 didn't. What's your point? I suppose if Ford decided to update the logo to include stripes, than it would have stripes. Wouldn't make it any less of a mustang logo. Lots of car manufacturers have updated logos over the years. It's a real thing...look it up.
