WiFi disappeared

Yesterday I noticed my Mach E is not reporting charging or any updates from the vehicle to my phone and it’s been offline last 14 hours. I checked the screen and it shows no wifi signal to the top right at all. Went to settings and tried to look for nearby WiFi which is my phone and home WiFi and it didn’t show any available network. Any ideas???

Did you try a reboot of the screen? I think that may do the trick.

I did a reboot twice by holding down “volume down” and “next” buttons on steering wheel, and that didn’t resolve it.

This happened to me with Ford Power up Improved DC FastCharging. You have to find Wi-Fi for home or devices again and enter passwords. Also CarPlay will go crazy and Paak will be bad.

I used to have this happen a little bit back in the early days. Something in the software was causing the Wi-Fi stack to crash. It usually ended up fixing itself. Plug the car in when it needs it and let it charge overnight, sometimes this resets it to a cold boot and the issue will be resolved. The only other thing if this doesn’t work is to disconnect the 12v battery negative cable for a few minutes. I’d do that as last resort because it’s kind of a pain to get to.
