Walmart has a sunscreen for ten bucks. With the $100 left over, I can keep shopping and buy some "cool guy" stuff like black tee shirts, beef jerkey, ammunition, and moon pies.

TIL i'm not some "cool guy." <whew!>

I did stop by Walmart tonight for a pack of #4 coffee filters and a whole lot of TV dinners so that I can caffeinate and focus all my newfound time and attention on what to do with all my FordPass Rewards points. So far the magic 8-ball says "will need new tires within one year" so it'll probably be that.

I wanted a good sunshield for this desert sun, plus had many points to use. The sun is really hard on the dashboards Ive been real happy with it so far. The sun will play hell on the dashboards out here.

I used to live in Las Vegas and many of my friends had big cracks in their dash. I did use an emergency blanket type but yes. It’s rough

I got this one for my BMW E-46 M3, swapped the M3 for the MME and this shade fits perfectly. Even though it is a hard foldable shade it is very easy to put it in, probably because the MME is just a bit larger than the M3. When I got it, it was only $50. At $80 it isn't cheep but it does fit well and it is easy to install.

This is what I got, it rolls up rather than folding though. It’s not terribly difficult to put up but does need to be tucked into the various corners.

This is the item but one of many types. Technically for snow/ice but perfect for my use as a sun shade

In fact, when I contacted Galaxy they didn't have an MME shade so I measured my windshield for them and they refined their beta design. I have the first MME shade they made.

Like the Heatshield shade, this one is first tucked into the space between the dash and windshield, then tucked into the space between the headliner and windshield.

I ordered the sunscreen today.. Then I received an email from Ford saying it was on backorder. I now have two items back ordered from Ford Motor Company. The race is on to see which will arrive first - the sunscreen or the Tesla charge port converter.
