After having the car for 3 or 4 days, the screen on my Samsung Z Fold 2 5G started going screwy. I have used Samsung wireless chargers for a while and not had a problem. As soon as I get the MME, problems.

Just read of someone in the US having an issue and having to turn off wireless on his phone. Don't fancy having to turn it on/off every time I jump in the car and certainly can't pay £465 every time I need to repair it!

Anyone else had an issue? Ford said they haven't heard of anything, but 1 guy in a call entre isn't Ford.

Were you using wireless android auto? Both wireless charging and wireless android auto generate quite a bit of heat. If you were using both, you may have overheated the phone. If you plug in using a usb cable, the phone should prioritize that over wireless charging. There is a setting in android auto to disable wireless connection.

I use the wireless charging on my Samsung charging unit, so having to turn it on and off when using the car will be a bit of a pain. Turning it off in the car and using a cable would be better. (As long as I can use Android Auto and charge at the same time.)
