As much as I like the car, I’ve just had too many problems and software glitches with it. Just had a call from my Ford dealership for the 60k service and the auto seat adjustment is not working they can’t tell why (say it works with the fob but can’t diagnose with the PAAK), rear auto-breaking feature not working and rear trailing arms need replacing. My car is a 2001 AWD max battery - first year I bought it it flew through my garage door off a flat bed getting towed back to the dealer (it bricked) as the ford tow track driver didn’t know he should not hook into the battery frame. My dealer now wants $1k to replace the defective upper trailing arms, $500 to do an ‘audit’ to trouble shoot why the auto reverse breaking feature is not working- something I think my auto updates must have broken. I’m done with this $65k car, it’s seems it’s slowly losing all the features I bought it for due to failed software updates.
