Working on a Ford app alternative in my free time for EVs

Update on the app, you can see the latest version here:

When I get time this week I plan to setup something to easily send logs and in a week or two get beta tests going.

Things working well:
- Data updates (Primarily push based instead of fetching)
- Lock/Unlock
- Climate (allows you to set temp, steering wheel, windshield, defroster, seat heater/cooling with configurable levels)
- Charging Status Updates, Showing Current Target SOC, Charging Details such as speed and type of plug,
- Vehicle status shows in near real time if the car is being driven, or idle (turned on, not moving)
- Main status widget shows when the vehicle modem goes to sleep (currently shows vehicle offline, need to change messaging). In this state, first commands take longer to process since the vehicle needs to wake up first.

Things Working Ok:
- White Theme. I barely used it and tried it for the second time today and it has some issues, but, useable for now. Will improve once functionality is fully covered

Things that are broken, but, I need help gathering data for testing because I live in a condo and only charge once every 1.5 - 2 weeks:
- Charging Controls (Currently Broken)
- Setting Target SOC (Currently Broken)

Things I still haven't decided on what to do with:
- Vehicle information screen, how to organize and display the info. Also check if it has all the info I actually have access to
- Adding a system to automatically keep track of trips and efficiency (needs more thought and planning)

I did a vehicle and phone reset the other day to try and regain official app functionality (Didn't work)
So i can tell you that Charging controls/being able to set SOC are broken in the Ford app at current time, for me at least.

not sure exactly what you were trying but I had zero issues on my trip 1000+miles. Several times I asked it to stop charging or to charge to 100% and set departure times. All from the app

I am saying that I have not been able to see my charging history or set my state of charge through the official app, along side not being able to set departure times either.​

This has been an ongoing issue for the past 4 months for me.​

On iOS, I am not seeing these issues. From history, i have the 9 charges on this last trip ending today. version. 6.8.0

I am also running v6.8.0 on Android, this is a major reason that I am very much looking forward to this alternative app.

@tonesto7 might have some insight here. I believe he started this effort but found that it was really easy to get your credentials locked.

I've been using a third driver I added so hopefully if the hammer does fall, it's not on my main accoutn,

Build a Charge once to xx% feature and take my money. (Are you reading this @Ford Motor Company ?)

Current planning options in FP just don't work for my situation ... and probably a lot of MME owners outside of the U.S..
I don't have a charger at home but I do own a garage with a Tesla wall box a few streets from where I live. I'd like to be able to park and plug in my MME and plan/start a charging session when electricity prices are low (flexible contract with very affordable off peak prices). Would like to keep the car in the garage without it charging to a schedule.
