This just started in the past couple days, without any perceptible update or change.
I don't even know where to begin as far as troubleshooting. The service department at the dealership will undoubtedly be stumped.

We all know PaaK is a POS. I've not seen that issue but I often can't get in the drivers door so I will try the back door next time.

I sent three FB messages to Ford asking about a second FOB. I sent them both privately and on their page with NO response. PaaK & Ford = No Response :(

Took it to the dealership here in Phoenix today. Described the problem, told the service guy exactly the SSM that would remedy it. He insisted they'd need take the car in for "at least 2 days" to diagnose it. No loaner would be offered until it was confirmed to be a warranty issue. God I hate them.

Definitely wasn't impressed with them on the sales side. You might want to give Chapman or Sanderson a call.
I took your advice and made the drive out to Chapman and wow! It was worth it. Service advisor Byron was super friendly, listened to my issue and assured me they’d get to work on it right away. About 4 hours later, he called and it was ready for pickup. They applied SSM 49676 as well as a number of other updates on the various modules. Everything is in working order once again, AND I have the frunk button now!

edit: the frunk button appears in my app but it doesn't work....yet!

Glad to hear it went well for you at Chapman. I'm dropping my car off there on Monday for the fan noise updates. I'm working with Tim Beal based on the referral from my salesperson but it's good to know there is more than one advisor familiar with the MME.
