YouTube (finally!)

I’ve found it irksome to know that US Mach-E drivers have had YouTube but Canadian drivers, mysteriously, did not. I’ve been checking my Entertainment tab maybe a couple times a week and look what showed up this morning!!

Great timing, since I’m taking a LONG road trip in a couple weeks and it’s very cool to know that I’ll have this for long charging stops.

Glad to hear that it’s going out! Just last week, I randomly got the “Public Charging” app that was supposed to be part of a previous OTA but didn’t show up. Now, without any OTA update, it showed up! I had checked for YouTube but it wasn’t there at that time, I will have to check tomorrow.
Nice to see these functions finally rolling out to Canadians!

Do you have the Ford Premium Connectivity Enabled in your account? Maybe you need to have it in order to see the YouTube App?

It's nice if they finally released it in Canada, however, not sure if it's practical as Sync 4A is soooo slow.

I wish they could offer the same SOC upgrade they did for Mach-E owners in China.

I don’t have the Ford Premium connectivity activated, don’t think I ever did. It’s telling me it is $15 to activate it (I assume per month?). Doesn’t seem worth it.

I don’t believe you require Premium Connectivity. You can use either external wi-if or hotspot off your phone.

Which OTA update delivered that to you?

I would really like this too. I was annoyed when I did the test drive and the car had YouTube, but when I bought the car it was missing. It's not a deal breaker, but definitely nice for charging stops.

I wish I knew which update this came with, because I can’t remember the last time I went to look for it. I know it had been a while

Recently received YouTube as well - probably in the last week or so. Just have used my phones hot spot so far. Surprisingly not that laggy…

Oh, yeah. I watch YouTube all the time with BlueCruise on. it keeps me more alert.
