In an attempt to capture a lot of this data for comparison, I've created this sheet. We can certainly replace it and I'll update this post to reflect what we land on. If we decide to use it, I'll manage the permissions and add people as editors if they are interested in adding their data.

Take a look here and let me know if it's too much.....or if you've already created one that is better or already has your data in it.

(EDIT: Check out some of those 0-10 numbers when not holding the brakes)

Great work across the board Harry!! Thanks for setting this up. Some ideas for additional fields if all agree and like...

Adding:
SOC Disregard you already have it ;)
Other commonly used/liked metrics:
* 50-70 | 70-90 (60-80 | 80-100 might also be easier to build from the 0-60 #s)
or
* 60-70 | 70-80 | 80-90 | 90-100 | 100-110 | 110-120 and you have all the data fields
* 60-130 is another commonly used metric (may be less relevant if ECU speed is short of GPS speed)
Notes field can detail passengers extra weight or fullsize driver etc

Guessing DA & Altitude don't have an effect here?
R/T is a metric for heads up competition, but doesn't hurt to have for record tie breaking ;)
The Distance # dragy generates is less useful too i'd think...
For those of us who do 1/2mi events, likely not relevant if it cuts off prior to finish

All good ideas, thanks! When I add columns, it just takes me a moment to validate all the conditional formatting held. :)

I also figured 60-130 was useless since we can't go that fast (yet?) But, I can certainly add in the other time slots if it doesn't make this too busy (roll-on speeds, for example, may need another validation field of "was it from a stop," or "was it from a roll at that speed?"

The chart looks great!

My one suggestion would be to only take the BEST run from each person at the top and maybe put all the raw data and multiple runs that were slower at the bottom or on another tab.

Not much info to be gained from 10 runs by the same driver same car same day and I think as we get more people it would just make the spreadsheet too big.

At the end of the day, I only want to know how people got the fastest times, not as interested in the 99 other ways “not to make a lightbulb.”

Those are good points and I agree. They only reason I added more is to see how differently the car runs in the same conditions on the same day. Strange to see how I can run an invalid downhill slope and still get worse times, or vice versa.

I think I'll move it to another tab as you suggested and see if it adds too much maintenance. Actually, I could just make a new front page with a pivot table pulling the best runs per user. That should work well. :)

Thanks!

Pivot tables added as a first sheet "Top Results." You can still see the rest under "All Data."

@Sitdown if you post a Valid dragy capture for that 0.60, you may "officially" have the quickest Mach-E user-tested to date (by a measly 0.01 seconds!)!. :)

I'm topping off to 100% now and will see if I can get a couple of 0-60 runs in on my lunch break tomorrow. :)

Yea no go on mine being "official". Will keep working at her though :) Have a few 3.60s too, but also "invalid low satellite". Best valid one still only 3.62

This is the only car I get the Dragy Low Satellite issues with... :confused: Knew there was a coating on the panoroof, but gotta be something on our windshield too

There definitely is! I literally hold mine on my window sill. I'm planning on sticking one of the Dragy mounting plates on there up hear my a-pillar but on my door sill, if it doesn't create an eye sore. I'll just stick the Dragy on that for my runs.

That location is the only way I've found reliable readings and data. I suppose we could mount it to the roof! haha. I could hot-glue a suction cup mount on it. :p

I tweaked some go pro pieces to get the ideal level position, but tried all variations on windshield & panoroof… it seems to like being flush on the glass as you found as well. For me, behind the dot matrix seems to be the most consistent, but still try to replicate the #s with it mounted in different places

I've had luck mounting the dragy in the trunk area.. hopefully that doesn't make the runs invalid or something but it shows the 2 bars for sat which I would think is all you need.. where it is in the car shouldn't matter?
