Ford Branded Lectron Adapters Now Shipping!

Looks like Ford is finally shipping the announced Lectron adapters. Just got mine today. It feels solid and well built like the A2z Typhoon Pro.

*EDIT* Just to add I purchased this case from Amazon that seems to best fit this adapter.

*EDIT 2* Case did not fit adapter but holds my Mongoose fine.

Once I get it I'll post an update.

Welp, my order number is 90120xxx, so who knows how quickly they can crank out the next 82,000 units? (if my math is correct) Fingers crossed for a March miracle.

I think it is highly possible you will see yours in March...but not March of 2025!

I believe I saw someone post last week that they were order 37xxx. I wasn't hopeful that Ford would get 3k orders out so quickly to my order, but here we are. It could be a good sign that order fulfillment might be ramping up with the Lectron made adapter finally making it into, hopefully more, customers' hands.

Thanks for the update.
So the #40,000 mark has been crossed. Although I've had a Typhoon Pro for some time, it looks like my number is coming up shortly.

It obviously doesn't matter which of the 2 options I am sent, but I gotta admit that I like the Ford script on the Lectron.

The Ford branded one from Lectron? I just did a quick glance and only saw a couple of listings for the Tesla made one.

Yeah, it's a nice touch. I don't recall if the Tesla made one had any branding on it.

I'm also bit partial to the ergonomics of the Lectron and A2z one as the longer handle seems it could provide more of a grip to remove the NACS cord with two hands. Of course, this is my opinion without ever handling the Tesla made one.

Dammit Ford! I didn‘t want my replacement to be another Tesla made adapter. I just got it this week. Couldn’t you have waited another week to ship my replacement? ??

Kind of happy I'll likely end up with the Lectron adapter. Worth the additional wait IMO. Elmo and his "T" brand adapters can go fly a kite.
