Have you had any experience rally springs without Eibach swaybars yet? Any feedback?
I have not. Since the bars and springs are in the same area and you have to remove the end links of the sway bars to remove the springs, it makes sense to do them all at once. Also, the OEM Rally springs are softer which will give you more body roll and replacing the sway bars will lessen the body roll bringing the handling back to not only how it was but a bit better. Also as mentioned they will soften the ride because of the bushing design. The labor would be about the same to do the springs or the bars so why pay twice. I am not saying it is required to install bars with the springs but just makes more sense.

I just had what Mark Boris is suggesting done to my 2021 AWD premium, and it was worth it. Follow his guidance. You won't be led astray. Go with Rally springs and Eibach bars at the same time.
Recently purchased a 2021 MME Premium and am about to place my order for both - appreciate you sharing they work for the 2021 AWD premium, I was worried about fit

As a recent 2021 Premium AWD purchaser who loves everything about the car except the suspension, I really appreciate this discussion--so thank you all. I do have a couple of quick follow-up questions though:

1) do the Rally springs that are recommended raise or lower the car (or neither)?

2) How would the Rally springs recommended here compare to these (and has anyone tried these with and/or without the swaybar enhancement as well)? https://eibach.com/product/E30-35-054-01-22?epsid=2886

The Eibach springs do nothing for that bouncy effect. They lift the car and are stiffer than your stock springs, so they will be more harsh. The factory Rally springs raise the car between 3/8" and 3/4". They are softer than the stock springs so they give a softer ride. 🤔🐩

Hey Adam, do you have the standard or extended range battery. That makes a slight difference in the height of the rear. In the last two days, I have replaced OEM springs with Rally springs on two Mach-E's. The Premium RWD STD battery raised the front 3/4" and the rear 3/8". I added 1/4" spacers in the rear to bring it up to a 3/4" lift like the front got. On the GTPE, it raised the front 3/4" and the rear 1". I have replaced them on other trims too and it really varies depending on the trim level.

Thanks! It’s the extended range. So would that slight difference require spacers?

Looks like the Eibach sway bars are out of stock everywhere and the manufacturer says there is no ETA because they are waiting on raw materials. Anyone know a place to get them?

I have a RWD ER with just the rally springs and no eibach bars. I love the ride now. It is much cushier and firm enough to be fun to drive.
Are you still happy with the ride without the sway bar upgrade? Thinking about doing the same.

Ford OEM Rally springs:
RK9Z-5310-A (Front) Approx $86 each
RK9Z-5560-B (Rear) Approx $ 89 each

Many places online you can purchase them at. I usually use https://www.tascaparts.com/

These are the Eibach sway bars:

Hey Mark
Thank you again.
I came across the part numbers above, and I'm going to call a local shop to get a quote.

1. I did a quick search on the part numbers above, and I'm obviously told that the part does not fit my 24 Premium RWD, and we ignore that, right? Obviously these are Rally springs that are not "Meant" for our premium.

2. IN another thread, you mentioned the need to add a 1/4" spacer to the rear so as to equalize the lift. If a local shop will do this, I will need to bring the spacers to them, correct? It's unlikely that they will have the right one for our cars in stock.

3. The rear spring part has been mentioned in 2 posts as either 5560-A or 5560-B. Is that a significant difference, or are they the same part?

Yes, ignore that they "will not fit" your car as they do and will fit EVERY Mach-E model.

The spacer is needed if you have RWD with extended range battery. If not, you don't need the spacer. I can send you a link to the spacer if you need one.

The rear springs all end in B now. A was the first version but they are no longer available.

Again, thank you Mark.

Since many of us won't have the luxury of doing it in our garages like you can, we will take these parts to a shop to have it done. Is there anything else that we should provide to the shop? Grease? Lube? Anything?

Here is the checklist:
4 Springs and accompanying accessories, if any
2 Sway bars and accompanying accessories, if any
2 spacers for the rear only for the RWD WITH the extended range battery model.
Wheel alignment
Credit card

Anything else? Your phone number for them to call for guidance??? ;)

1. Springs have no accessories. Just make sure both the fronts and rears are identical pairs.

2. Sway bars come with silicone grease for the bushings. DO NOT use that grease. You will be using Green Grease which will pretty much last forever.

3. Alignment, the shop that installs the springs needs to also install adjustable camber bolts. Photo below of the kit required.

4. You have my phone number and I have no problem if you or the shop calls me with installation questions. Just let me know the day you are getting this done.

Green Grease purchase from auto store or Amazon.

I don't much like the grease that is supplied with the anti-sway bars, so I always use the waterproof Green Grease on my bushings (along with my suspension bearings, U-joints, ball joints, etc.). 🤔🐩
