My tin foil hat theory is that they have concerns over the durability of the frunk latch mechanism so they make it inconvenient to open. Like it's only rated for 1000 cycles and if you open it once a day it may break while under warranty. The door interlock on the handle, not moving that handle to the right side on euro cars, no fob button, buried menu buttons. Wake up sheeple!I disagree - I shouldn’t have to root around in submenus to simply open the frunk. It’s like Ford is actively discouraging Frunk use. To address your concern, they could simply grey out the controls when unavailable.
