Received OTA Update PT-25.13.4 - Addresses safety recall?

Greetings! Just received OTA update PT-25.13.4 on 10/31. Appears to have addressed at least part of the safety recall 25S65 issue, but the safety recall alert remains. No reference to the other part, 25V404. Wondering if I still need to interact with the dealer, or if it’s perhaps a 2 part OTA?

Anyone else familiar with this? Thx!

Probably give it a few days to a week to update. The OTA for this recall is just now rolling out so not much data on how it works yet.

Well the 25S65 OTA is finally here!

Safety recalls do not disappear from FordPass instantly after a software update. It takes a week or two for the database to be updated.

This update also fixed my trunk opener button. I was having trouble opening the trunk with the black button located under the trunk. Now it works.

Asked the team - this is a powertrain bundle. MY 21-24 will be getting this update over the coming months and it includes small improvements to the Powertrain Control Module in addition to the 12V software FSA. I *think* MY25 already has it rolled out in a package.

Hi Brian, if you say that this OTA update includes an improved PCM, does this mean that this will be applied also to cars that already got the FSA manually in a garage?

Thanks. I think the bigger question is if this OTA completes recall 25S65 or if we still need to take our cars in for more.

From my understanding, the FDRS and OTA servers are not one and the same, so depending on whether the data between the two is synced or not at the time the OTA trigger is sent to the vehicle, you may still get the OTA sent even if the updates were already installed. If that is the case, the OTA will fail because the firmware is already installed on the vehicle.
