It works okay. You sneeze or look at the rubber cover wrong and it will pop out. I have it and am currently using it, but the fitment could be a lot better.

Or for $10 a universal cover. Simple sometimes is better.
Everytime someone posts one of these, we remind them that magnets won't stick to the fender.

I agree. Though it is not perfect, if you lightly wedge something between the cover and the arm it helps the cover stay in place. I use 1/2 of an old wooden clothes pin.

So yours pop off from the left? Mine typically pops off from the right and this is what I came out to this morning.

I usually thread the charger through the Velcro strap on the closed end of the door cover. I find that it pulls the door to just enough it kind of keeps the rubber insert in place.

Wouldn't that expose part of the hinge? I've had the hinge freeze up on me a couple of times because the port cover directed some water towards the hinge and froze.

Haven’t had a problem with that the door cover has plenty of play so it still has room to pull flush to the body. Also I don’t pull the Velcro tight on the open end of the cover. Just had 6” snow with a couple inches of ice on top and worked just fine.

yes similar to yours. the clothes pin gently pushes the cover to the right and in so that there is enough friction to stay in place. I think the clothes pin also pushes the flap to the left i think it's the wind that partially closing the charge port is what pushes the weather cover off. there is still the odd occasion that still still happens but before you sneezed in the next community, it would pop off.
