Well, my dealer checked the VV Report and confirmed for me that my car had been shipped by rail to Kansas City and is not on Stopped Ship for the recall. I am afraid they are trying to fix them all in Kansas City because otherwise why would they stop shipment? My dealer said he wishes they would just let them fix it upon arrival. Maybe it is more than just tightening bolts.I don’t think the recall will happen at a rail yard. My guess is that it will be performed at the dealer.
The good news though is that my dealer is getting their Mach E Courtesy Vehicle and I have a test drive scheduled for Friday, May 12.
