I don’t think the recall will happen at a rail yard. My guess is that it will be performed at the dealer.
Well, my dealer checked the VV Report and confirmed for me that my car had been shipped by rail to Kansas City and is not on Stopped Ship for the recall. I am afraid they are trying to fix them all in Kansas City because otherwise why would they stop shipment? My dealer said he wishes they would just let them fix it upon arrival. Maybe it is more than just tightening bolts.

The good news though is that my dealer is getting their Mach E Courtesy Vehicle and I have a test drive scheduled for Friday, May 12.

May 12th?! How far out is your ETA for delivery if yours is already in KC?

Sorry, March 12 and the expected arrival before the bolts needed to be tightened was March 25 - 31st.

The bolt tightening will happen at dealerships after they arrive. Dealers will do it before selling the car and it won't take much time at all... This will not affect shipping times.

Maybe they decided Friday to let dealers check it. My VIN was not showing up on the Tracker this morning, but now it is back. Hope that means the removed the Stop Shipment my dealer told me about today.

Let's not jump to conclusions. Yes, we know that some vehicles received a stop ship order. Yes, we know that there's a recall for some vehicles for loose bolts. But we don't know if those two things have anything to do with each other. We do know that 4500 people received the extra 250kWh of charging because of "delays", but only 1258 vehicles are part of the bolt recall.

was at my dealership yesterday (3/6) and they checked their system yesterday in front of me, I am a part of that new delay and he confirmed the delay is the bolt issue. From Ford, as sent to the dealership, check/tighten the bolts before delivery.

Dealers know less than we do. If they told you that they were told to check and tighten the bolts at the dealer, why would that cause a delay in shipping? I don’t think they’re related.

Yes but that fix is happening AFTER delivery to the dealership. Any delay in shipping is unrelated.

My car moved today to Birmingham, Mo!!!!!!!!!!
Palsapp updated today for the first time.
So it is a relief that it is not still in Mexico and appears to be back on the move. I would assume the QC check is over and on the way to my dealer. Without more delays I am guessing 1-2 weeks I should get “the call”.
build date Feb 4
Shipped Feb 10
ETA March 29th (still should beat that)

Shoot! Mine is in this recall. Extended AWD manufactured on 2/11.
Odd, I also have an extended range AWD from 2/11 without the recall.

Congratulations! My car showed up in paslapp today too. It's the first time ever I have seen it there. Unfortunately it says it has been "delivered" to Kansas City Kansas, which is a long way from Northern California.
I am not sure what to make of that. So it's in the US, I am wondering if it will make it by St. Patrick's as initially scheduled.

Mine also showed up in Palsapp today, with a similar movement:

Ford Mustang Mach-E The Build Week 1/24/2021 Club 1615171496933

From what I've read this is the journey from one railyard to another. The next step is another train to the final destination.

it has been delivered to the next ramp which I assume for you is Argentine. Expect another 2-3 weeks barring any other stop ship or fixes.

My FE was delivered on 2/5 and reached Serramonte on 2/24.
