So, anyone else feeling frustration and trepidation? I’m not a negative Nellie, and take most things with a grain of salt. When I got the ETA of 3/16 to 3/22 I got excited. Like really excited. Then I got the free 250 charging letter from Ford. Then my dealer verified that the vehicle visibility report shows that my car ion stop ship. For me, when you pair Fords lack of accountability with the numerous user issues reported here, i’m really concerned about what I’m going to receive when I finally do. My car is also on the recall for the bolts list. But if that’s not why it’s on stop ship what are they actually fixing? Even the most positive and nonchalant people on here on Facebook I’ve had bad stuff happen with their cars. I guess I’m just venting. I wish I could go back to that “unbridled”state of excitement again, but I fear reality has set in. Oh, and there was finally activity on the PalsAPP today(to the Argentine Ramp), which I thought was a good sign, but an email to my dealer confirmed the stop ship was still in effect on my car. Thanks for letting me vent. ?
In this case, the stop-ship is really a do not deliver until the bolts are retorqued message. That work will be done by the dealer when your car arrives and before you can take delivery.

Really? I had read that the bolt recall and the stop ship are two different things.

If the stop-ship is still in effect on your car, how did it transport from KC to the Argentine Ramp? I might suggest the dealer email was earlier than the transport movement today.

Nobody really knows. But the fact that we’re seeing a lot of cars moving through the transport system while on stop-ship implies that they haven’t actually stopped shipping.

Anyone that got a palsapp update on the 7th or 8th get an up to date vv report that shows them moving on the train?

I finally got an update on the Palsapp too. The tracker tool shows my delivery date as 3/11 (NorCal) still. Wishful thinking but I highly doubt it. I don't think my dealer contact knows anything about the VV report. If I'm lucky maybe I'll get it by the end of the month.

I suspect that the 250 kWh letter was in the works for some time before the bolt issue and the bolt torque safety delay leapfrogged ahead of the marketing feel good letter. Car going to Argentine Ramp today ought to be able to arrive in Vancouver WA by my ETA of 3-25 to 3-31.

I understand why. But you have got to hear a couple of things that should re-ground you:

1. This (and the FB pages) are essentially online forums. Since the dawn of car forums, 99% of the time they're used for people reporting their problems. It makes the incidence of issues seem much more magnified than it is in reality. In other words, all the people who *Don't* have any problems aren't posting anything. So it's skewed.

2. Your car has a bumper-to-bumper warranty. Everything will be fine in the end, no matter what. Don't worry!

3. The bolt recall is nothing. And it will happen at dealerships after they get delivered.
The stop-ship is probably another quality check that we don't know what for, although it seems like they're shipping once again now.

The stop-ship is not for the bolts. I have the bolt recall, but I don't have stop-ship (and my car is still moving).
Bolts will be fixed at the dealership.

There are a lot of cars on stop ship that are continuing to ship and are in fact being delivered to the dealers.

Just got an email from my dealer contact that they are expecting their demo car in today. It was delivered to the Voltz ramp 17 days ago so if mine makes the same progress it should be here by March 25th. ?

My Mach-E is no longer on stop-ship status, per the Ford 800 number. I assumed that when yesterday it was transported from the KC ramp to another ramp. They also provided a railcar number for the KC area to TX journey...about 500+ miles. Unfortunately cannot trace that on Union Pacific. No public tracking permitted. Need to have my dealer check VV for journey updates.

Ford gave you the railcar number? What number did you call? They've never been able to give me any useful information. They always just say to contact my dealer.
