In fact these days looking at a picture of a Mach-E on the road is good news, whichever the color.
January 6th, after hearing that brochures were available, I went to my dealership (selected at reservation time) and they said there were no brochures, and that more will be known between August and October.

Upon leaving, I drove seven miles away, to a different dealership and picked a brochure up.

I have since called Ford-national Marketing (on three separate occasions) to switch my preferred dealership, they cannot do that. In short, Ford-national Marketing is unable to do that and forcing me to stay with the initial dealership, and that it can be changed at the time of order confirmation. I don’t buy that for an instant, we are talking about changing the information in one field of a database.

To their credit, the original dealership did eventually mail me a brochure about a month later (pic attached below). Not exactly the way to make a good impression for selling a $60K vehicle.

I even had a pleasant chat with a Ford-National Rep attending the first day of the Twin Cities Auto Show, Feb 7th about all this, even offered my card. All he did was say that the initial dealership was the one of the nation’s largest dealership chains. There has been zero followup.

As of this post, I am still stuck dependent to convert my reservation with the dealership that mailed that out.

If it weren’t for this web site, my reservation would have been cancelled by now. I am not being a primadonna, but I do expect professionalism. So far, my experience has been bungled at least several times.

I thought Ford would be more reliable than Tesla. Honestly, at this point, I’m not so sure.

In ten days, First Edition customers should be able to start converting reservations to orders. After several polite attempts on my part, I have no clue as to who will be contacting me.

If I were Bill Ford, I’d be be making personal calls, or directly assigning someone, to fix this.

Except what we are hearing on the reservation-to-order thread, it will be late June, not May 11.

Looks like it could be Coachella Valley. Snow on the peaks tells me it's probably a month or two old at a minimum.
Original tweet here:

Tweet is dated 28 April by someone in Las Vegas. That agrees with the recent shots that have been identified as Las Vegas roads.

I've seen the Dark Persian Green in person and it's a great color one that I would seriously consider getting.
I am hoping Ford will offer the Mustang in Highland Green (a colour available in 1967/68 and on Bullitt Mustangs. The Dark Persian Green is similar and I think would be my choice, if available.

whatever the name, it is a really nice color. I saw an escape at my dealership in that color and it is both unusual and good looking. It would be a nice addition to the color palette.

As would most anything other than another black, white, or gray.

Another reason to throw the GT'ers a bone with the yet unannounced color choice!

The non-GT'ers can then complain to Ford about not having it for the other trims!
